Karvachauth is a North Indian festival where the woman fasts from sunrise 
to moonrise 
as a gratitude for her family life each married year.
On this day, the woman does no chores at all, but dresses up in bright bridal colors and celebrates being a woman, her girlfriends and her family. She gets gifts from the mom in law and the husband for her contribution to the family.
I love the colors, traditions, the showcase of woman power and the romance of it all

Missed hanging out with the ladies this Covid Karvachauth, Generally the ladies would get together in the afternoon, and the hubbies and families will join in the evening, but this year, we only connected through Zoom for social distancing. Cant wait to celebrate in its grandeur next year :))
